The upcoming ALGS North American Pro League season is sparking more coversation with unexpected coaching changes, as revealed in Oversight Esports’ recent spreadsheet. The spreadsheet indicates that the 5th slot are for coaches of that respective team.
OpTic Gaming
OpTic Gaming raised eyebrows by supposedly appointing “iShiny” as their coach, known for his brief stint with NRG, and history within the Apex Legends community. This move comes after OpTic Gaming parted ways with their former coach, “Loopy,” following their 2nd place finish at the World Championship.
Sadly after publication of this article, we found out from a tweet directly from iShiny that the opportunity with OpTic Gaming sadly has fallen through and will not be the move going forward for ALGS Split 1 North American Pro League.
Dude’s Night Out
In another twist, Apex Pro Player “Lou” seems to have shifted from player to coach for team DNO, alongside Dooplex, senoxe, and crust. Previously associated with various rosters, Lou’s coaching role adds intrigue to DNO’s strategy if the assignment is accurate.
The Future
As the ALGS North American Pro League season kicks off, these unexpected coaching changes promise to add an extra layer of excitement, with seasoned players taking on coaching roles and fresh faces entering established organizations. Fans can anticipate a dynamic and unpredictable season ahead in the world of esports.
