TSM, the formidable squad that clinched the title in ALGS Year 3, is abandoning their long-time landing spot known as “The Wall” on Storm Point in favor of a new location for ALGS Year 4. This change in strategy was revealed by TSM’s coach, Raven, and it’s one that has fans are hanging on to as many tier 2 squads like to replicate TSM’s game plan.
Moving to Lightning Rod
For those who’ve followed TSM’s journey, The Wall has been a crucial part of their success. It’s where they’ve honed their strategies and battled their way to the top. However, all good things must come to an end, and TSM has decided it’s time to explore new horizons. Raven, in a recent announcement, confirmed that TSM’s landing spot for ALGS Year 4 will be the “Lightning Rod.”
The Lightning Rod isn’t an entirely uncharted territory in the competitive Apex Legends landscape. In fact, Furia, another formidable team in the scene, has been making this spot their home for quite some time. However Furia recently announced on stream that they were planning to leave the POI for Year 4 but haven’t announced their new spot.
TSM’s decision to move away from The Wall is a bold one, considering their track record of dominating the location. No team has ever truly pushed them off a point of interest, and many would be surprised if a team tries to contest them for it.
